Real estate-based partnerships — If you are fairly new to investing or have some distrust with the markets a real estate based partnership is generally considered a safe way to invest and something that you may wish to explore.

Salvatore M. Buscemi, managing director of Dandrew Partners in New York, stated to U.S News & World Report that typically this is upwards of 20-30 people investing in a parcel of commercial real estate. He makes note that you will want to ensure that you do a sufficient amount of research and get involved with a developer that has a proven track record.

“I would find a real estate attorney locally in town, and I would ask him if there any deals, partnerships that are being put together where people are investing in what we call stabilized commercial real estate, not value added.”

Overall the gains experienced from participating in a project like this can be significant and with a little research you should be able to find a variety of real estate based options to ponder.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution without a doubt has brought with it a wide variety of investing opportunities.

The First Industrial Revolution – during the 18th and 19th centuries – had the U.S. beginning the shift from an agrarian to an industrial economy.

Shortly after began the Second Industrial Revolution. During that period the telephone, light bulb and internal combustion engine all became part of society. Additionally the rise of captains of industry and the robber barons. Rockefeller, Carnegie and J.P. Morgan come to mind.

The Third Industrial Revolution brought technology advances – analog to digital for example. It’s rise began in the 80’s and is currently ongoing.

All of these have ushered in prosperity for those fortunate enough to be involved.

There is however a new revolution and with it a wave of opportunity. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is here however it’s hinging on just one technology.

If stocks are a bit outside your realm of expertise or comfort level perhaps you may wish to look at corporate bonds. While they carry more risk than government bonds they are still safer than playing the stock market.

Corporate bonds are defined as debt securities issued by corporations and sold to investors. Backing for corporate bonds is typically the payment ability of the corporation in question, although physical assets can also be used as collateral.
